I've been voting for many years and I have to talk about the emotions that have stirred in me and so many others that I know about this Presidential Election. I've seen people who are my age for the first time register to vote! (HurraH)I have also seen people who do not desire to vote, (go figure) People who want to vote but has had the privilege taken away. I've seen friends stop talking to each other because they are voting differently. Is it that important to be right?
I am voting and I am grateful for this priviledge.
I choose to live in a world where the color of our skin, our religion, our financial status, our citizenship, our sexual orientation, our #1 language does not matter to me. I respect the world in which you choose to live.
We are all people that exist in the same planet. Whether you were born in this country and practice christianity should not matter, should it? If you are an American vote! If you are running for office of course you should be an American, but do you reallllly need to be a Caucasian and believe in Christianity?
Unless we are Native American (Indians) then we are ALL from other parts of the world. One human race, aren't we?
Can we learn to see one another as such? In my world I choose too. In my world we have all lived many lives as many races and sexes, but our spirit is one.
Have I stirred you UP?
